how to advance only to the base layer of the next slide

I am trying to offer the learner a chance to go back to previous slide(s) for re-visit and review which happen to have multiple layers. However the return of the specific slide only goes back to the last layer instead of the base layer of the slide and hence prohibits the review of the slide . How to resolve it? Appreciate someone can help.

Hey Vincent,

You can click on the slide properties on the base layer:

Then set it to reset to initial state "when revisiting":

Thanks to Rachel again. I could not get some sleep late last night because
of this issue, and I believe now I do.
