I am really hoping someone can help me find a better way to adjust the end of the timeline. Right now I am manually dragging it to the location I need to it at, but this is time-consuming.
Please tell me I am missing the easy way of doing this. Thanks for the help!
There is no need to drag it to make it longer; just add something that plays longer, and it will automatically expand to accommodate it. If you need to shorten it, start dragging it left, and while dragging press the left arrow key. It will jump to the end of the longest item that is not set to "play to end".
Oh my, thank you so much! I had the same question. Dragging for a million seconds to the left was taking forever! I knew there had to be a shortcut. THANKS!
I've also found how to move a small item from one end to the other. For example, on a slide with a long video, where you have a button you want to show the last 10 seconds. Create the button to last for 10 seconds, start dragging it to\ward the end, and while it is moving, press end (or home, if you want to get it to the start).

Thanks for the info ... I was unable to get this option to but I did get it to work when I added a key to the location I want to be the ending.
