How to build a quiz with no incorrect answers and 8 feedback/result slides?

Nov 30, 2015

I'm trying to build a 4 question quiz with no incorrect answers. Respondents will be asked to select 1 of the 2 answer options for those 4 questions and based on the answers will be provided with a profile description (something similar to fun quizzes like what movie character are you etc.)

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to build that using Storyline?

I wanted to base result slide on the tally and assigned different values for the answers you select but I get stuck on the Result Slide where I need to set the passing score. Here no passing score but I want to display different messages depending on the amount of points respondent got.

Simplest way I can imagine is to just use slides to break up the questions and link them together until you get to all 4. Then have the last 8 slides link to 8 individual slides that contain the results for each path possible:

It's a lot of slides, but it's the easiest way to go about it I think without putting things in slide layers. Plus you can undock and resize the "Scenes" panel to see how everything is linked as you link up the buttons to connect the slides.
