new at storyline360 and searching for a link to previous discussions as I'm sure it's already been covered.
I've choosen to go with one of the templates in the Content Library for my first project. I'm using the Velocity template. However, there's specific slide from some of the other template-themes that i would like to use (eg. Journey and Illuminate).
How do I change a "Journey slide" so the layout looks like "Velocity" and the overall design of my course is consistent?

I'm not sure I'm following your question, but I wanted to share some resources to get us started in the right direction.
You can use multiple templates within one project. You can then apply different layouts to slides as needed as well as use the color theme:
