I was wondering if the multiple choice template could be changed from radio buttons to letters? Also is there an easy way to change the multiple choice hoover color without going to edit the state on each answer?
You can customize the radio buttons such as color or overall format, but not replace them entirely with letters. You could set up the question as a pick one question type, where you set up the individual letters as the choices for the pick one.
In regards to the hover color, you'll want to adjust the theme colors and Control 1 is the hover color option.
I remembered that this question had come up before, and found a file I'd played around with, using a Pick One question type, as Ashley has suggested.
The attached doesn't change the multiple choice from buttons to letters, but it does allow you to "pretend" by adding the letters off to the side with text boxes.
