I would like to control audio play and pause on individual slides and also in the slide layers. where I have added three layers and on clicking next and previous buttons the respective layer appears. but I have added audio in each slide layer and when I preview all the all the layer audio are playing together.
Please let me know if there is any tricky way to work on this :)
To prevent audio on layers from overlapping, you'll want to enable the "hide other slide layers" and "pause timeline of base layer" settings in the Slide Layer Properties.
Thanks for popping in to share your thoughts. Are you running into an issue as well? You're correct, if you need a layer to display with another layer, this solution will not work. You could:
Add the images on the layers manually where they need to display so you can still hide the other layers.
Create individual slides vs. using layers

Hide other slide layers doesn't work if you also have layers of images coming up with the audio.
