How to control voiceovers?
Apr 07, 2015
Hello,
I have trouble controlling voiceovers on a slide, and I hope someone can help. Here is the situation. The base slide has a voiceover. It also contains 7 boxes, and when a learner clicks any box, they listen to that box' own voiceover. I want whatever is playing to stop on click, so the learner hears only one voiceover at a time, the one associated with the box they clicked last. But that's not what is happening right now. Instead, I get multiple voiceovers playing all at the same time. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Cheers,
Marzena

Probably the simplest way, depending on what else is going on with that slide, is to place the audio on separate layers. Then on each layer pause the base layer by adjusting the slide players properties by clicking the cog and then clicking the appropriate box.
I tried it and it works. Thanks, Cary!
Glad that Cary was able to assist you here Marzena :)
