I would like to create a shape with a character in it. I would like some of the character to be cropped inside of the shape and some to extend outside of it. Are there any tutorials on how to do this in Storyline?
I'm not sure I'm clear on what you're looking for - could you overlay a transparent shape on top of the character? Or how do you want the character cropped inside and outside of the shape? Here is a tutorial on working with shapes and one on editing characters.
I'm unable to open the link you shared - could you try sharing it again? I'm not familiar enough with it by title, but there are lots of Storyline templates here if you wanted to review what was available there.

Hi J A,

Something like this?
I found the following video on youtube.

The only thing I can't find is the template used in the tutorial. Can anyone help with sharing the template?
Hi Heather,

That link doesn't work for me, but here is a sample that does.
I just updated the link. It should work now.
Hi Heather!
Here's the template you're looking for. Best of luck on your project!
Thank You!!
Answer: You can't in Articulate. Do it in .pptx and bring it on in :)
Thanks David, that straight forward answer is what I was looking for haha
