How to delay a trigger?
Jun 26, 2014
I have a slide that has multiple voice overs. First one starts with the beginning of the slide, and the other ones are tied to triggers. If the user does not wait for the first voice over to finish and clicks on one of the triggers, the initial voice over and the triggered voice over overlaps each other. Is there a way to delay the triggers until the first voice over finishes (which is 8 seconds)??

An easy way to do this Tolga is to set up multiple 'stop media' triggers for each object you click on. So, as well as 'start media' to begin the sound playing, clicking on one of the trigger objects stops all of the others as well.
Hi Tolga,
If the second voice over is triggered when the user clicks on an on-screen object, you could set the initial state of this object to disabled and then add a trigger that changes the state of this object to normal when the media (the first voice over) completes?
Another way to achieve same result is using slide layers, you can use one audio on one layer when user clicks button you can show that particular layer and by default other layers will get hide so there will not be audio overlap.
Thanks
