I am trying to create a clean .story file (Articulate 360) that has only the new theme colors I created listed when I go to Design > Colors and see the ones for this project.
There are color themes listed for this project at the top that are no longer applicable, they were the old colors associated with the original slides, but I can't find a way to delete them.
I applied my new color theme to all slides and that has taken effect. I have also renamed the player and changed colors in the player Menu.
You can delete the custom ones by going to %AppData%\Articulate\Storyline\Themes\Theme Colors and delete the ones you no longer need. Ensure SL is closed and the custom colors should be gone the next time you open it.
This approach won't actually work for what I am trying to do, as I do still need that original color them for other work - just not for this new template that I am trying to only have include the relevant colors.
If I do what you indicate, since it outside Storyline, it sounds like then that theme is gone as an option for all .story files? Is there a way to save it separately first?
You're right. The color theme will disappear for all .story files. You can save them outside of the folder first while you don't need them (e.g. your desktop) then reopen your Storyline. When you need them again, you can return them to that folder and reopen SL.
