How to develop this question Jan 23, 2017 By Amit Patel So I have Storyline 2 and am trying to figure out the best way to collect information from a question. I want the learners to have the ability to type in the response to a question and have the answers either stored somewhere or emailed to me. I am planning to use a free-form (essay style) question, but do not know if I will be able to collect the responses. Is this possible? How would you proceed with this?

There may be a way to email variable values as well using javascript that another community or staff member may be able to help with. Hope that works for you.
