I am trying to create a simple question which must identify a typed number (using Numeric Entry) is an integer or a Decimal number on clicking the 'Submit' button.
For Example, Lets say if a student types 1.52, then a variable must set to 'True'. Similarly, if the student will type an integer, say, 65, then the variable must be set to 'False'.
This will happen when the student will click on 'submit' button.
Is there any way to identify a typed number is an integer or Decimal value? Any help would be appreciated.

I do not want to use Javascript. I have no experience in coding. It seems too complicated to me. Moreover, if something goes awry, I cannot even fix it.
Is there any other way to do it using just some triggers/layers/buttons etc?

You could use a Javascript with the IsInteger() method, see here for info.

There is no built in method for this, the javascript suggestion is the best one.
