How to disable lms commit in Storyline

Jun 24, 2013

Hi everyone,

does anyone know how to disable the lms commit element in Storyline?

i only want my course to perform the lms commit action every 5 slides.

However, at the moment when I test my course in scorm cloud it appears to be saving back to the lms on every slide.

Has anyone else experienced a storyline course saving every slide and if so how can this be manipulated or disabled?

Many thanks

Storyline communicates course completion to an LMS (LMSCommit) when the user meets the completion requirement, either when they reach the appropriate result slide or when they have viewed the required number of slides. BUT communication is continually going back and forth of course. Perhaps it would help if you could see the actual communication that is happening?  You could enable LMS debug mode.
