I'm just finishing my first end to end course in storyline 2 and stuck on final slide. See attached - Its a test were the pass as rate is 100%. I want the actual % to be displayed however at the moment I only seem to be able to get the "tick" symbol and congratulations message . What am I not doing? Thanking all in advance. Rob
your triggers aren't set properly. When you insert a result slide SL automatically creates four variables. I can't see any variables in the .story file. You might need to add another result slide in and copy your formatting to it.
Thanks Wendy. I tried that however it says I cant create include results slide for question banks? I then referred to instructions as per attached PDF and it appears the check boxes I need to check are correct. The variable you say it creates automatically I would imagine that is a preform box that populates with the learners actual %?
I work with Question banks all the time. At the end of the question bank I have a result slide. Do you want to upload your .story file including the question bank not just the result slide - might be easier for someone to help if we can see what is happening.
This is a bug I have seen a few times, check you are running the latest version of Storyline.
The work around I found is to insert a new results slide and replace the one you have but do not delete it (add to a scene that is no in the menu, I also normally call it "Do not delete")
I found when you delete the old results slide it breaks the variables again.
I'd agree with Wendy it may be easier if we're able to see the whole set up you have. Have you been trying to add the results slide to the question bank itself or to a new slide/scene? Just trying to think of other elements that we could look at testing.
As Phil mentioned you'll also always want to make sure you're using the latest update of Storyline, which is update 7 available here.
Thank you heap Wendy, Ashley & Phil. I duplicated the slide a second time and to your point Wendy all the embedded variables were there this time - it was then just a matter of making it look cool. The support through this community is sensational! Thanks heaps.
