How to display number of slides viewed

I am using Storyline 2.
I have added a progress slide (Lightbox) and have the completion set to number of slides viewed.
I would like to add a text box to the progress slide that also shows the number of slides a student has viewed so far.
Is there a built in variable that I can use?

Nope.
Something simple like;
Text box, "Total slides = %xslides%"

Storyline isn't currently designed to expose system variables for user interaction, such as the total slides or slides seen. As a result, JavaScript triggers that reference them could interfere with course playback.
