Can anyone think of a 'clever' way of using a 1-10 slider to fill up a shape 10% at a time when the slider moves?
I'm not meaning a gradient fill, more like a slider that fills a glass up with liquid as the slider moves.
I could do it using a series of images that are hidden/made visible with each slider change but that seems a bit clunky and I thought there would be a better way :) Storyline 2 btw...
You could add custom states to your shape which represent the various percentages and then display these states, depending on the value of the slider variable.

Here is an example of this approach. Move the slider in the lower right and watch the 'buckets' in the upper right display various levels.
That’s precisely what I am trying to achieve, I’ll take a look at custom states.
Thanks for the quick answer!
Custom states allow you to develop some cool interactions, here is just one of many examples.
That's very cool... do you know of any resources here that I can download to see more clearly how it is done?
I'm not asking you to divulge your own IP :)
See this post on my blog for some info.
Thanks again.
