Hi, I have made a module in 16:9 ratio, when I click back button on mobile, the address bar get restored and content shrinks and there is blank space on the left and right side, please see the 003.jpg for your reference.
Yes, updating to Update 22 should fix the "swipe up for fullscreen" issue, as Leslie shared yesterday. Keep us posted on if you're still seeing the problem after updating!
We're still investigating the URL address bar issue, and we'll keep you posted on our progress with that.
Just got Storyline 3 today (Seems great by the way) and tried using my android phone and chrome to run through a course to test out the new responsive player but the browser is still showing in both portrait and landscape... Kind of annoying as this was a big factor for upgrading to SL3...
The first time I opened the course there was no browser so I thought great... But, as soon as I hit the back button on my android device the browser screen appeared and I can't get rid of it, tried closing and re-opening the page, clearing my history & cache etc but nothing.
I did note that this issue was presented 2 years ago so I'm hoping there is a fix by now?!
Yeah it doesn't work - we have Storyline 360 and basically mobiles are a no for Storyline output - tablets are ok. Rise is ok on mobile - and again not with the storyline blocks
Sorry, you've hit this snag, and as Lizzie mentioned it exists in Storyline 3 and Storyline 360. It's specific to Android browsers on phones, as the browser will always display on tablets. In testing our team has done, clicking within the browser frame keeps it visible or reloading the course.
We'll keep folks posted here as soon as we have more details to share!
We also encountered problems with Apple phones - not with the address bar but with similar elements. - on the smaller sized iPhones it was evenless functional than Android.
Hi there, Niall. Our next update of Storyline 3 will improve the performance of the responsive player on Android phones. We specifically tested the issue of seeing the browser chrome when revisiting your course, and it should be fixed!
We'll tell you here when that next version is released, which should happen in the next month or so.
Hi Lizzie! Can you let me know what you're seeing with Storyline 360 output on iPhones? I'd like to be able to let you know if we've got those issues on our radar. Thank you!
Hey folks. I'm excited to let you know that we just released update 25 for Storyline 360! It includes new features and fixes - check them all out here.
One of the fixes addresses an issue where a course could shrink when resumed on an Android phone because the browser chrome was showing.
Here’s how you can update Storyline 360 to take advantage of everything the latest release has to offer. Let me know how you make out!
Just testing out how Storyline does on the mobile again this year, and was hoping that 2years down the line from my original comments some of the issues would be fixed. But so far we have tested on Android phones and the same issue still appears with the browser chrome appearing if you let the phone go to sleep - I can't guarantee our learners will be 100% attentive on the course the whole way through.
Yet to test on the iphone - but will this evening and let you know how it works

Damn that's annoying... Feel a little let down to be honest as they've made it out to work perfect on all mobile devices.
Ah well, back to the drawing board I guess!
Thanks for getting back to me Lizzy!

Hi Ashley,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Are your developers still working on fixing this issue? As it's been over 2 years since I can tell it was raised.
Hi Ashley

Interestingly - just done a test on iPhone 11 and the browser bar remains on screen - course has been called up from an LMS.
Therefore not much real estate for course
Hi there, Lizzie!
Thanks for reaching out. We'd like to understand the experience better and can troubleshoot in real-time while you navigate the course on mobile.
