How to generate a report of assessment in Storyline?
Apr 16, 2014
Hi team,
I'm using the latest version of Storyline.
In my current course file, i have added an assessment of 10 questions with 10 points each (80% passing).
I have inserted a Result page with the option to print the result.
However, after i publish the file (tried both, in Web and LMS), clear the assessment, and click the Print Result button, it just asks me to enter my name and nothing after that.
In an earlier assignment, when i had worked on this, i remember seeing a HTML page with my name displayed on it, and all the questions with their correct answers in a table format. I expected to see a similar report this time. :(
Could you please help me get such a report? I need to generate the same for my course.

Hi there Divya!
I think this may be happening because of the method being used to view the project. If you view the published output files (for Web or LMS) locally, the print results option won't work properly.
To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. Please review the article below for more information:
Publishing and Sharing Articulate Storyline Content
If you do not have access to a web server or LMS for testing, you could try using SCORM Cloud.
Another option would be to use our Tempshare server. Just keep in mind that this server is only available for testing content - it is not officially supported by Articulate and all content will be removed automatically after 10 days.
You're always welcome to try out Articulate Online, as well - it's available for a free 30 day trial.
If you still have trouble, you could share your .STORY file here. We'd be happy to take a look and see what may be preventing the print results from displaying.
Thanks!

Thanks a ton again! :)
Hi Divya,
Excellent! :) That's a really handy service and I'm glad it helped.
Good luck with the project and have a great day!
