How to handle repeated quiz failures?

Hi All,
I've set up my eCourse with Review and Retry buttons so the Learner can try again. If a Learner fails twice, the Next trigger sends them to a "Sorry - you did not pass. Please contact your Line Manager." slide. Is Storyline capable of auto-generating an email to let me know the Learner has failed twice?
Is LMS pass/fail tracking the only way to know if a Learner fails? I'd love to create a trigger that sends me an email to alert me to contact the Learner's Line Manager.

Storyline does have a send e-mail trigger that you could add to a button on that failure layer or slide.
Please note that this is dependent on the learner having an e-mail client installed, which you can read about here.
In this the learner needs to send the email though correct? I need it to send automatically. Learner may not want it to go to me. That's what I need.

You are correct. This trigger will open up the learner's default mail client to allow them to populate the e-mail.
