I'm new to Storyline and must be missing something obvious, but when I jump to a slide that has objects with entrance animations or that aren't supposed to appear until later in the timeline, they are already there when arriving at the slide. Is there a way to jump to a slide and have it run the timeline from the beginning? Thanks!
On that slide's timeline, do you have those objects appearing a little later? You can grab them and slide them down the timeline until the point at which they need to appear.
If you want to send a screenshot of your timeline or attach the slide here, I'm happy to have a look and see what I can offer!
Thanks, Crystal! Here is the screenshot. As you can see, it's a simple slide with just a few elements that appear after short delays. When I jump back to this slide later in the course, the slide appears with all of the elements already visible (as they are at the end of the timeline). What I would like is to be able to jump back to the slide with only the background image, so that the viewer can see the elements appear after a delay (as if we were coming in at the beginning of the timeline). Is this possible? If so, how do I do it?

Hi Steve
do you have the slide revisit properties set to 'reset to initial state'
Exactly what I was thinking, Wendy! Steve, here's more information about adjusting your slide properties.
So simple, once you know where to look! Thank you Wendy and Crystal!
Glad that worked for you Steve and all the best with your project :-)
