How to jump to a specific layer on a different slide

On a specific layer on slide A, I have a hotspot over a word (a key concept). If the hotspot is clicked, it triggers a jump to slide B. When the user clicks Next, I want to jump back to the original layer on slide A.

Is there a simple way to do this, or do I have to think about variables?

I found the answer using Google search. It looks like the search function in the forum is broken.
