Thank you, that is a good idea and we will use the Resource tab, but I know the client wants the viewrs to see the word "Transcript" loud and bold on the slide for them to click on.

One option is to add the pdf under the player's Resources tab. See here for info: https://community.articulate.com/series/4/articles/choosing-player-features-in-articulate-storyline-2

You could add a prominent button to the master slide that links to a pdf.
