I'm not entirely sure I fully understand what you are trying to do, but you can make the fill of a button transparent by right-clicking on it, selecting 'format shape' and then setting the transparency to 100% on the 'fill' tab.
This is very helpful. I fell into the trap of trying to make the button without fill or line thinking that would be transparent. In the player- the user clicking on the button still gave the button color.

Have you tried right-clicking on the button and selecting "Format Shape." Then, on the fill tab you can add transparency.
However, not sure I understand why you mean by "on the existing texts"? Do you want the button, except for the button text, to be transparent?
Hello,
You can just insert a button - format accordingly by adjusting transparency.

So glad that you were able to find what you needed here, Tara.
