How to make an embedded image open in a browser window?
May 07, 2018
Greetings,
Because our eLearning goes on a media server which is then accessed by the LMS, I cannot reference an image from outside of the course. I do have the images imported into the course, but they aren't large enough to scan for information. I'd prefer to set up a trigger that allows these images to be opened in browser tabs, which the user can leave open so they can answer subsequent quiz questions. I originally used Engage which has this feature easily accessible to the developer. Suffice it to say that we have a situation that forces us to avoid using Engage. Is there a way to open images into a browser tab using Storyline 360 without having to reference a file in a folder outside of the course?

Hi Michele,
Do these images live on a web server as well? Meaning, could you add a trigger to the image to open in a new browser tab via web object?
