How to make the screen size bigger or full screen

Nov 15, 2012

I was wondering how to make my project bigger or full screen on the preview, because the window is too small and probably there is an option that shows the preview on the whole screen, without toolbars, just the project.

Hi I'm reading this, and I was wondering if this is the way to make the player bigger?

When I publish to LMS my project, it gets posted and it's pretty small.  I need to make this bigger.

Here are the publish criterias if you need to know

LMS  SCROM 2004  3rd edition

HTML5 selected

ios / android deselected

then zip

Hi Viviane,

What's the story size you're using? Also what are you using for the player and browser settings? This is a tutorial for Storyline 2, but the same steps would apply to change those settings in Storyline 1 or 3.

Those will determine the overall size of the course and how it'll display on your screen within your LMS.

I am working with SL2. I was able to change the screen size using the Story Size button, but now two things are happening:

- Somehow the question bank  correct answers are shitfing out of alignment, giving the student the correct choices.

- The player size became very tiny.

I have attached my whole project so you can see.

Hi Viviane,

Changing the story size after the fact can cause things to be out of alignment as Storyline is readjusting their location and position on the slide. I'd recommend starting a new file and setting the story size - from there you could look at importing in your existing file and choosing how those items will resize. There is a bit more information about that here.

Also, the player size may appear small in the preview, as we only have so much real estate inside the Storyline UI to show you the project. Have you tested publishing it and viewing it on the intended device? The larger you make your slide size, the smaller the player will look - especially in preview.
