But, you're correct - it links here, so at least you're not crazy for this element. I just meant I saw where you shared the mention of doing it...yeah, that's what I meant.
Hi Charles, I have SL2 but I cannot extract the story file from the zip file.
Kind regards, Chris

Glad you were able to download the file, and just an FYI that replying via email includes your signature here, so you may want to look at editing the post to remove that information if you'd prefer it not be public.
I know that you were discussing motion paths with Michael as well and hopefully Charles is still subscribed to this thread. It is a bit dated though, so if you do not hear back soon, I wanted to let you know about the 'Contact Me' option that is on the user profile and you could reach out directly.
Katie, that is a great question. The simple answer is that it was just trial and error. 40 (-40) off of the center (turn on the ruler and show guides) seemed to give me the best speed. However if the "room" were bigger I would probably want to speed it up a bit. If you have a specific effect you are trying to go for, please let me know and I will try and help.

Thanks Charles - I saw you shared this in another thread, but always good to have a standalone demo too!
The link should direct views to this thread and not open up the demo directly. If that isn't the case then I am officially losing my mind. :D
Losing your mind - up for debate on a Monday. ;-)

Nicely done, Charles! Your example fits nicely into this week's challenge: https://community.articulate.com/articles/image-sliders-galleries-in-elearning
I just updated the challenge resources to include a link to your example and download. Thanks!
Awesome! Thanks David.
Hi Charles,
I love this example too but I am unable to get the storyline file from the downloaded zip file. What am I doing wrong?
Chris
Hi Chris,
It is a Storyline 2 file so if you are still on SL1 you won't be able to open it.
Best,
Charles

Here is the file again.

How do you know how long to make your motion paths?
