You can play and pause the timeline, in that way the audio also play and pause. There is no other option yet available in storyline to pause the audio.
Could you possibly try using a button to trigger Pause/play media, as shown in the screenshot below? Otherwise, I will defer to the community for additional input and/or suggestions!
Thanks for Replay! ... its most usefull the above trigger but..! if you have 8 tab in one slide, We have to use more trigger.. may be its dificult i hope.... Is there any other option!
Hi, Bhaskar - Thanks for the update, but beyond the suggestion posted above, I am not aware of another way to accomplish what you want to do. Perhaps others will share their ideas! :)
What about converting the audio to a blank video move it to the back of the slide. That would allow for using the video controls to control the audio. It will up the size of the file, but might work. I did try this and using a video editor exported an audio file as an mp4. The screen of course is black, but in SL2 I just formated the brightness to 100% and the contrast to - 100% and moved the video to the back layer behind all the graphics. When I converted an mp3 the audio turned out a bit gravely, but when I converted a wav file it was fine and it works great. It did make the file size a bit larger, but worth it for the user control
I've seen a few other users set up something similar - but it's caused them issues when using the output in a mobile device, although typically they sized the video so that you couldn't see it so maybe your set up of hiding it behind something else may work better!
Thanks Ashley, I'll remember that and will hope it does work with mobile. I found that changing the brightness and contrast makes it as if the video is not there but still allows for a full play pause.

Hi Bhaskar,
Can you please use the slides layers setting to Resume saved state in the layers.
Thanks

Hi Sylvia,

Thanks for sharing here.

Thanks Sylvia - cool idea if it works, so thanks for keeping us posted here.
