I created a tab, with a viewed stated. When the learner clicks on it they are taken to a slide layer. The viewed state of the tab can be seen on the layer even though I have checked hide objects on base layer in the slide layer properties. How can I avoid having the viewed state show on the layer?
can you share your .story file - might be easier for someone to help you if they can see your setup. Just use the grey 'add attachment' at the bottom of the post.
Here is the slide - I tried to set up the green tab so that after if had been viewed it would fade, but you see the faded state on the first slide layer.
see if the attached update to your file works how you want.
I duplicated your state called 'viewed xx' and created the inbuilt 'visited' state. With the inbuilt states you don't need a trigger to change the state so i deleted the change state trigger and it appears to work as expected.
