I have published a Storyline tutorial (first time with audio) on our website. I want to prevent it from auto-playing. All slides are set to advance by user. Do I need to set up a trigger or variable to cause the student to click the play button? If you are going to tell me to go the variable route, PLEASE be specific...still trying to figure those out!

Sheryl,
I think the easiest approach might be to have a welcome slide with a "begin" button on it that triggers a jump to the first "real" slide.
Or, you could use a 2nd layer as a pausing mechanism. It's a technique that I share in this Screenr: https://player.vimeo.com/video/149070794
I hope one of these helps.

Both options are great! I was going with the first suggestion at first...but kind of leaning toward the second.
Thank you!
Sheryl,
The second is a little more elegant (and looks cool too!).

Hello Sheryl,
You can stop auto play slide by placing a simple trigger in to slide.
step:
create one trigger and set trigger wizard as shown in attachment.
copy this trigger in any slide u want to stop auto play.
I hope these one help you in your project.
