i want to pubblish my courses in TinCan but this require a connection HTTPS and my LMS does not have the HTTPS, and so when i launch the Learning Objects generated in Tin Can simply do not work (black screen).
My question is: It's possible anyhow to pubblish in Tincan without the HTTPS requirements if my LMS do not have SSL certificate, or i have to go only for SCORM? If yes, How to do it?
actually is not totally true that the LMS i am using is not secure.
I have chosen the function of the LMS called "Custom Domain" which allows me to use my domain for the platform but has not the SSL certificate. So i want to have a secure connection i have also to purchase their feature called "HTTPS".
That's why i was wondering if there is any possibility of pubblishing a Tin Can course which do not require the HTTPS connection,as the SCORM courses.
Attached the screenshot of the problem. Will remain completely black, no error message.
Hello Antonio - This sounds like it's a step out of my realm of support. Where you host the content should determine the security. What browser are you seeing this error in? Have you tested in another browser?
If you wish to use your custom domain, do you have another location you could host the file? Perhaps a web server that you had a bit more control over?
Just an idea - I hope others in the community can jump in to share theirs :)

Hi Antonio!
What LMS are you publishing to? I did not know there was a non-secure LMS, so I've actually not seen a similar question before.
Do you get an error when opening or just a blank page?

thanks for answering.

HI Leslie,
yes i know it's quite a weird question. By the way, i tried many different browser. And the problem is the same.
I was just hoping that there was a way to generate TinCan courses in Articulate without this HTTPS connection requirement...
Thanks Anyway
cheers
