How to publish a S3 course for a client to review?

Jan 20, 2021

I have been using Articulate Tempshare to publish my courses for our clients to review published content, however, this no longer appears to be working (in that I am unable to drag the Zip folder to upload the course).

I am therefore looking for an alternative way to show my clients the published content as we don't have an LMS system. I have looked at Amazon S3 but was wondering if there is a simpler way (such as Tempshare) and don't really want to add my card details for excess usage (just incase)?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you would like to do with your projects.

Are you getting an error when using Tempshare? I was able to drag and drop to upload a file just now.

Since you specifically mention that you're looking for a solution for your clients to review your content, I'm curious if you've considered Review 360 to allow them to preview and gather feedback?

Hi Leslie, thank you for your response.

No, I don't get an error - where I used to be able to drag the zip folder into the upload box in Tempshare without a problem, it now seems to just download my zip folder again and drops it to the bottom of my screen :S (confused). I have used Tempshare 100's of time as its so quick and easy and have never had any issues previously.

Anyway, I think I have a solution now, I found instructions for the Google Cloud Storage platform which appears to be working.

We have looked into 360, however, as we have paid so much for the purchase of Storyline 3, my bosses are reluctant at the moment to spend the same again on a yearly subscription basis (however, I would love it!)

Thanks for your response.

I apologize for the confusion, Sarah. I read 'S3' as Amazon S3 instead of Storyline 3. I'm glad that you were able to find a solution that works for you in the meantime.

If you'd like and with your permission, I'd be happy to take a look at your project file to see if I'm getting an error in Tempshare as well. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
