I want to use Articulate Storyline to create an online video course. It won't have any interactivity but I want to build it as a compilation of slides, screencasts, narration, overlays over the screenshots or videos explaining certain features, etc. I find Articulate Storyline very suitable for this purpose. The problem is that I'm not sure whether or not it can publish the whole story as a single video (e.g. mp4). I couldn't find this feature in the demo version. I'm told that Adobe Captivate can do this but I don't know about Storyline. Any help with this issue is welcome?
There is no built-in option to publish Storyline content as a video. A workaround would be to run the published content, record it with some screen recording tool and save/publish that recording as a video.
How about the quality of the video and audio? Basically, this will record a recorded video (screencasts, maybe some stand-ups)? Where the audio will be captured - from the speakers to the microphone?
