Hi, Tsetseg,

Storyline automatically assigns a color to hyperlinked text. It uses a tint of that color to highlight a link when hovering. The color is based on the color theme you're using:

Color themes are explained here: https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-storyline-360/articles/articulate-storyline-360-user-guide-how-to-use-theme-colors

It's possible to change the color of hyperlinked text simply be selecting a new color. However, I don't know of any way to turn off the hover highlighting.

There is an option that will avoid that highlighting:

  • Remove the hyperlink from the text.
  • Cover the text with a rectangle.
    • Format the rectangle so there's no border. Use any fill color, but set it to 00% transparency.
    • Add the hyperlink as a trigger to the rectangle.

Note: You should do something to make it obvious that the response includes a link. Otherwise, the user might click the link when they mean to click the response as an answer to the question.
