I searched the forum and may have missed the answer to this one. I imported a PowerPoint presentation with slide numbers. I read that the slide numbers will be converted to pound signs. I learned this after I completed my elearning. :(
How do I remove the pound sign and the dotted line that has appeared at the bottom of my slides without starting over? You can see it in the picture below. Thanks in advance for your help!
I have the same issue and didn't notice until I completed too much work on the imported slides to re-import them. when I'm in Slide Master view (see the attached screen shot with the pink box around the offending text at the bottom left of the slide), the offending text is not editable. Is there something that I'm missing?
your screenshot is showing a layout of a master. Go to the slide that is outdented and remove the object from that slide and it will be removed from any layout using that master

Hi Alicia
check the slide master - you should be seeing those objects on a master layout and be able to delete them there.
Hope that helps
That did the trick!! Thank you so very much!!
Yay! good luck with your project Alicia

Thank you very much, Wendy! I would never have caught that on my own.
Glad that helped you Linda and good luck with your project.
