How to report quiz score

Feb 18, 2013

Hi Support team

Is there any way to report the quiz score when we publish it? It's not just  the word "complete or fail" but the exactly score number.

Thanks

Hi Nutpaphat!

In Storyline, result slides allow you to easily communicate to your users about how they performed on any combination of quiz questions you've included in your course. You can report on all questions or, if you prefer, just a subset of questions.

Storyline also allows you to use multiple result slides in the same course (although only one result slide can be tracked in Articulate Online or another LMS). You can even combine scores from multiple result slides to create a final result slide with a consolidated score.

Here's how to add result slides in Storyline.

Hi Peter

Sorry, may be my question it was not clear. I already used result slide to show the user's quiz score but I mean is there anyway to keep the report of quiz score when user completed it in text file or in something outside articulate storyline for teacher to use for tracking user's score in each quiz.? Moreover, I will not put this quiz or course that I do in online or learning management system but just need to save in CD or tumb drive so I think it's hard and limit to use this technique of how to report score outside articulate storyline.

I know it may be impossible but I just need some input to do this if you have an idea

Many thanks

Ahh, OK, thanks for clarifying. Right, there isn't a built-n way to send or store scoring information to your local machine or outside database. You may want to suggest it as a feature request

You're not the only one interested in something like that, though, so there are a few threads floating around with some creative approaches.

Here's one for emailing results. And here's one discussing saving results to a database.

I hope that's helpful Good luck!
