Can you share what you mean about sending it manually? The score should be on the results slide of your Storyline course and as long as the trigger to "Submit Results" is enabled that should send it along to your LMS. If that's not working in SCORM 2004, you could also look at testing it within another environment such as SCORM Cloud to see if the LMS to causing an issue with it.
