I'm creating a software simulation in Storyline 360. All the hotspot slides are taken care of by SL, but I ran into a trouble when I created a drag&drop slide.
I have a screen recording in the slide, and I'd like to let users do a simple drag & drop then see the video starting to play, just like how the hotspot slides work. Right now the video will start playing before I drag & drop. How can I copy the behavior from the hotspot slide?
Thank you very much for the detailed tutorial, works like a charm!
If you don't mind, I now have a second question. On the same drag & drop slide, I'd like to show the Try Again layer when users don't drop the cursor on the target. Is there a way to configure that?
You could create a hotspot that sits on top of everything (but behind the interactive things) and then put a trigger to show layer try again if they drop on the hotspot, which would be outside the target

Good question. The screen recording starts when the slide starts.
Here's a tutorial.
