When setting up a question, you can also edit the "Correct/Incorrect" feedback at the bottom of the question edit screen. You could change the incorrect message as you've indicated and if you've set it up for multiple attempts you'll want to change the try again feedback (which will appear when you change the number of attempts to 2 or more). You could also set up feedback by choice if you'd like. A full tutorial on setting up questions and what other options are available to you are included here.
