how to show tick or cross marks for each options in quiz

Dec 10, 2018

I need to show the tick mark or cross marks for each options in quiz page when the feedback pop-up appears on second attempt. I can show that manually in layer pop-up. But is there any default option available in Storyline 3 to show the tick or cross mark for any default graded questions.

Hi Alyssa, in the below link you can check the first page that is Quiz page, in that page I have given 2 attempts, after 2 attempts you can see a tick green and wrong red icons before the checkbox. Currently I am adding those icons(tick green and wrong red icons) manually in slide layers. In Storyline is there any option where it shows the tick/wrong icons automatically by selecting any options?

Currently the options are not shuffled, the order of options will remain same. If I chose options to shuffle, then the tick/wrong icons will not re-arrange to correct/incorrect options.

Hi Shoban, thanks for sharing that example!

Storyline will automatically include green checkmarks and red X's during quiz review, after the learner has completed the entire quiz.

However, if you want to show those icons after the learner attempts the question twice, you'll want to use the custom method in your example file. The community may have other ideas to share with you, as well!

Hi, in the below link first page, I have created a MCMA question. When I select the checkbox its flicker/shaking in internet explorer 11. But, when I check the same page in Microsoft Edge there is no flicker/shaking. Can you please provide any solution for internet explorer 11 browser.

Hi Shoban,

Thanks for sharing that link and letting me test it out. I saw the same thing and confirmed our team is investigating a bug where the HTML5 output shows radio buttons shaking when clicking on the answers and when viewing on Internet Explorer 11. It's only in the HTML5 output and IE11, so in the meantime, you may want to use a different browser or ensure your learners can view the Flash output.
