Create a variable called BGMusic that is TRUE/FALSE On the master, add a trigger: Pause Media bgmusic.mp3 when variable BGMusic changes to FALSE Add another trigger: Play Media bgmusic.mp3 when variable BGMusic changes to TRUE Also your original trigger: Play media bgmusic.mp3 when timeline starts on this slide Now whenever you want the music to start or stop, just toggle the variable BGmusic On/Off on your slides.

You will need to setup the master for this as well.
Now whenever you want the music to start or stop, just toggle the variable BGmusic On/Off on your slides.
