Hi- I am relatively new to Storyline. I cannot get my course to submit a score and close the window. The Submit player trigger submits, but doesn't close the window. Isn't there a standard way to submit a course with a score AND close the window? Seems like this should be intuitive so I must be missing something. Only possible caveat is that the course has a random question draw. I have not been able to find an answer anywhere on this site or in the documentation. Please help. I attached my story file.
I guess I am not sure exactly what you need to achieve here. When you hit submit on each question, you will see the feedback layer, then continue to the next slide from there. Once the final quiz slide it submitted, you will jump to the results slide. You have this all set up in the file, so do you not want them to see the results slide, and just have the course close? It seems you have some text on the results slide. Or do you want the course to close out after the results slide appears?

Correct- I want the course to close out after the results slide appears. So show the results, then exit and and report the pass/fail with the score to the LMS. It seems that this should be easy to build in; part of a template or standard trigger. But I cannot seem to make this happen. Thoughts?

I took a look at your course and as Emily mentioned the Results slide is set up as intended.
I would advise to remove the submit button on this slide and add an Exit Course button, but you could also simply add the exit course trigger to the submit button if you'd like.
Thank you very much! I tried to download and open what you uploaded, but it will not open for me. It is a .zip file, not a .story file when I download. And the .zip file doesn't seem to be a SCORM published file either. In the meantime I will try to edit my original file as you suggested.
Hi Elisabeth! So crazy, I just had another user report similar. My file is not a zip file. Are you utilizing IE perhaps? Could you try a different browser and see if it downloads as expected? You could also try editing the downloaded file from .zip to .story.
Hi Leslie- I tried using Chrome. In any case I was able to edit as you suggested and the course closes. However it does not report the score I got on the course. Just pass/fail. Do I need to do a submit and exit course trigger?

I tested this in SCORM Cloud and get a score as expected:
Can you test in SCORM Cloud as well to see if you are able to replicate your issue or if it's limited to your LMS?
Did you get all the answers correct? I think it told me I got 100% when I failed a question
