How to teach Storyline to newbies - free resources available
Jun 15, 2015
I was hanging out in the Articulate Storyline LinkedIn group the other day when I saw someone post a request for suggestions on how best to deliver a Storyline demo/training. Having delivered several courses this year, I thought I'd jump in with a quick reply mentioning an exercise that I have developed for this exact purpose.
I have found this exercise to be really successful in getting newbies started with Storyline.
Within a few hours of replying, I had received several responses asking for me to share the resources, so I thought that rather than responding to each request individually, I would write a quick blog post to help, please click here for the guide.
If you would like me to send you the zip folder with all of the materials you will need to teach this exercise (including a video of the training being delivered), then please click here and send me a quick message!
Also wanted to thanks to Montse Anderson whose original slide design (found here) inspired my demo course.

Hi guys
I just wanted to let you know that I have recently added a voiceover to this demo, you can see the updated demo here (please click on Unreal Ltd > View Demo). I added these into the course because I wanted to teach students how to add these audio snippets to the course,
You can download the updated Zip file which includes the Narration by clicking here and as a reminder, the blog with the instructions is here.
Cheers
Ant
