I'm often copy&pasting for example dialogues and just changing what's inside, but doing copy&paste from timeline keeps moving my elements like 10 px down and right. It's annoying, because I must position it back where it've been. Can I turn off that, or maybe there's a duplicate option, like in a states menu?
I makes sense to do this to provide you visual feedback that the object in front is a second instance.
If it was placed in the exact same position, you would always need to view the timeline layers to see your copy - interrupting your workflow. The pros outweigh the cons in this case.
If you have a lot of dialogue in the same slide then a quicker way to force-align your duplicate elements is to do a multiple select (on those elements) and then adjust the now blank position values. Using the arrows once for vertical and once for horizontal positioning will align them perfectly, quickly.
Hi Mateusz! Looks like Dennis and Alex are taking care of you here. Just let us know how those suggestions work for you and if you need anything further.
Yeah, I know that I can fill blank position etc. Just thought maybe I can turn it off somehow in options or some .ini's, but if not, it's ok, thanks everyone :)
