After setting the duration of an animated object, how do I set when that object will enter the slide. I thought objects would enter slides in the same order that I dealt with each one. But they don't. Most times, all animated objects enter the slide at the same time. For example, how do I ensure that animated objects (for which I have already set the duration) enter the slide 2 seconds after each other and in the same order I completed animating each one?

Have you moved the objects' start time on the timeline? That should do it, as in the example shown below.
