Can anyone recommend an animation tool that can be used with Storyline? Doing animations with state changes is not what we want to do. I know there are motion graphics (which I have used) but is there a way to do true animation by combining an external tool with Storyline? The only thing I can think to do at this time is to do the animation and put it in a movie clip that is pasted into the Storyline slide.

Have you considered Adobe Edge Animate? Maybe you could produce HTML5 animations and embed them using a web-object.
