html and html5
Aug 31, 2017
HI
I have published a module and hyperlinked it to our website www.abc.story.html
When it was published, we had select html5 output as well even thought the url on our training page only reads html.
We have users notifying us that they cannot print their test results and upon further investigation, the url that they send us reads html5.
Question:
Why do browsers automatically pick up the html5 file?
Should I be republishing our modules without the html5 output?
Thank your for your help!
Sandra

This thread explains things quite well.
Hi Sandra, it looks like Brian has pointed you in the right direction. Some browsers are blocking Flash and automatically launching the HTML5 output. You can read more about that here.
Are you using Storyline 360? If so, you do have the option to publish with Flash first.
I use Storyline 2 and I don't use Storyline 360. What can I do when the browser doesn´t support the .html files? Do I must install Flash?
Thanks!
That's right, Angie. You'll want to make sure Flash is up-to-date and enabled in your browser. What browser are you using?
