I have a very typical problem: to create a menu system like here at elearning heroes: if you hover to "learn" or "discuss" a drop down will appear. You can move down to select the menu items (they have state changes too). And if you move out of these areas the menu will disappear.
Basically you can set hover to show a layer that contains the menu, and restore on mouse leave. But when you attempt to select anything on the menu, the layer will disappear so you cannot select anything.
Somebody (Kaitlin Keppler) asked this question 3 years ago but there was no answer provided. So I thought it might be worth something if I bring this up again.
As a backup solution, right now I have unchecked the "restore on mouse leave" and created a hotspot that covers everything except the menu on the layer. This way any click outside the menu can hide the layer.
