Does anyone know why this keeps happening? I've searched through the forums and there are always the "the update will fix it" issue with HTML5, but if someone has a fix, please let me know.
I'm running update SL2, update 10, and this happens on Chrome and Safari on iOS.
If there is something I can do that will allow mobile versions of the quiz (one of the primary reasons I chose Storyline) it would be much appreciated!
Can you give me a bit more information about the iOS you are utilizing and where you are hosting the course? I just published and tested your course on iOS 9.3.3 and it works as expected.
It looks like you're using an iPad. I haven't had a chance to test on Android, but I was using the latest and greatest iOS on my iPhone 6s. Since most people use their phone, I'm hoping to be able to get it working on those. I'm hosting via my own version of Wordpress on a server rented through Dreamhost.
Even when creating a vertical version, I encountered the same issue in Chrome and Safari in iOS on my iPhone. I haven't had the chance to test it on an android device.
Thanks for the details Rich. I do not have an Android phone to test on either, but I did take a look at the version I published on an iPhone. I do see the issue that you are reporting. I changed some publish settings to no avail. I will be sharing this with our support engineers to take a closer look and will follow along as well.
I filed a case on your behalf (00865258) so that our support engineers could take a look. You should be hearing from someone soon and I will follow along as well.
From what the rock star Justin from support said, it may have had something to do with the animations. Unfortunately, I've moved onto another distribution method for those quizzes. But if someone else experiences the same issue, try going with a regular font and removing the animations. It may help out!
Thanks Rich and it looks like Ryan was able to replicate the behavior and reported it to our QA team for additional work and investigation. He'll keep you posted in your case once there is any addition information to share, but we can't offer a time frame in regards to when we'll hear back. I will also include this forum discussion in that report.
I wanted to provide an update here, as Storyline 2 Update 11 was just released, and included a number of fixes which you can see in the release notes available here. The item you all may be particularly interested in is how it fixed an issue where fly-in animations wouldn't work properly for shuffled answer choices in HTML5 output
You can download the latest update here, and after downloading and installing the latest update you’ll want to republish any existing content to ensure that the updates and fixes are applied.
Let us know if you have any questions, either here or by reaching out to our Support Engineers directly.
