HTML5 Help

Sep 26, 2013

I am testing our courses on several mobile devices (Android tablets and iPads).  What I have seen in these mobile browsers is very inconsistent.  For example, on Android tablet (Chrome browser) I noticed audio plays at about 1/3 normal speed.  On Mobile Safari, videos aren't playing properly but are loading first frame etc.  I understand that not all devices and browsers are supported, but I am looking to get a more consistent result.

Does anyone know how to resolve these issues or have workarounds for HTML video/audio?

Hi Jason and welcome to Heroes!

There are some recommendations within this kb article about using Mobile Safari, and testing your content prior to HTML5 deployment, additionally this one is specific to missing audio/video within Mobile Safari.

In regards to best practices with Android, I'll defer to the community on their experience with such.
