HTML5 issue
Dec 14, 2015
Hi,
I'm trying to get my course to work. It worked fine in Flash, but then I tested it on the iPad and as HTML5 in Chrome.
I have a slide with several clickable object which will take you to other layers (within the same slide) and then back to the main layer.
The slide include true/false variables.
My issue is that when I try to click my way back from a layer it freezes and I cant continue with the course (while it works perfectly in flash, but not HTML5).
Any clues to what might cause this?
Regards,
Robert

Hi Robert!
Are you viewing the contents in a supported browser as indicated here in this documentation?
Viewing HTML5 output in Chrome on an iPad is not a supported viewing method.
If you need us to take a look, please feel free to share the .story file.
Yes. As I said Flash is not an issue, but when I run it in chrome (pc) or iPad ("app") it freezes.
Feel free to have a look, I attached the slide (+layers) below.
Thanks.
Start the presentation, click 1 of the objects, click the image to remove it and try to click something else (HTML5).
Hi Robert!
Thank you for sharing your file for me to take a look.
Unfortunately (after spending much time testing/re-doing triggers), it appears that this is an issue that has been reported to our QA Team to review.
I will add this thread and your file so that they have another example as well as awareness of user impact.
It will also allow me to update this thread when applicable.
Thank you.
By removing the layers and using slides instead it works.
So I believe the issues lays somewhere in the layer functions.
I agree. Glad you were able to find something that works for you in the meantime.
